Make a Movie

Makeover Your Room

Smarten up your bedroom, make bunting, a door sign and a fabulous pom pom chandelier. Ages 5+

Arty Smarty

Lots of crafty tasks in this workshop. Scratch designs, foam and ink printing, plaster of paris, peg people…all sorts! Ages 5+

Creative Cooking

Hope you like sweet things…make sherbert, lolly cars, decorate a gingerbread man and make a recipe book to take home your new ideas. Ages 5+

October School Holiday Workshops 2011

Holiday Workshop time again and this time we have workshops every day and 5 different ones to choose from! Workshops at Remuera Store only.

Paper Craft

Learn paper crafts, anything and everything made from paper! From origami to decoupage to box making. If it’s made of paper, we’ll be making it! And you get to take it all home and teach your parents too! Ages 5 to 12. Maximum 12 per class.

Make a Movie

Write your script, make your props, dress up and act in your very own crazy mini movie! Take home a copy of your performance on a flashdrive . Ages 6 to 12. Maximum of 8 per class.

Fun and Games

Skipping, bingo, cards, an obstacle course, crazy games, pass the parcel, simon says, memory games and so many more. Take home a goody bag of games to play at home. Ages 5 to 12. Maximum 10 per class.

Make a Living World

Create your own living world in a basket tray using real plants and all our craft materials and your crazy imaginations! Build a fairy world or a dinosaur habitat or a bug world, whatever you imagine you can build. Ages 5 to 12. Maximum 12 per class.

Make a Mosaic Mirror

Start with a board and a mirror and grout your tiles and fancy things on to create an amazing mirror for your bedroom. Ages 5 to 12. Maximum 12 per class.

New Activities and a Cold Doggy!

We have a new activity for the School Holidays - Paint a Paper Lantern for $14.95 and it lights up too! Decorate a Canvas Tote Bag is back by popular demand for $24.95. Lastly, a picture of poor wee chuppy, shaved after a misunderstanding at the groomers! I love the expression on his face!

School Holidays Approaching....!

School Holidays approaching and the weather is about to turn to custard again just in time. I hope everyone got their registrations in on time for the Seedling Kids Entrepreneur Market...if you didn't make the July 4th deadline they are still accepting entries this week so get your skates on and register! We are doing 2 Workshops at the Remuera Store to help the children with their stalls, artwork, costings, pricing etc on Tuesday July 19th 1pm to 4pm and on Tuesday July 26th 9:30 to 12:30 for $25 each. The Market itself will be held at Marys Market at the Freemans Bay Community Hall August 13th so even if you haven't booked a stall come on done and buy something amazing from our junior business people.

Hi everyone! It's been so long since I updated this it's just embarrassing! The parties are going awesomely (is that a word?) at both stores. The Message Board Activity and the Decorate a Wooden Treasure Box are the most popular party activities at the moment.

On the subject of parties, we now have plates, jugs and glasses you can use so you don't have to bring so much with you and it helps reduce what goes to landfill! Some of the cakes we have seen lately have been just amazing, there are some very clever parents out there.

I know it seems mean to mention the school holidays when it feels like they have only just gone back but they will be upon us again in no time. We have 3 workshops lined up already - Make a Memory Book, Be an Artist and by popular request we are doing the Make and Decorate Cupcakes workshop again. I will put more detail on closer to the time.
